As in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 company, Shannon regularly resolved employment cases at mediation. She is as skilled at handling the sensitivities of discrimination cases as she is at managing the complexities of wage and hour class and collective actions. In private practice, Shannon represented union and non-union pension and retirement plans in complex consumer protection class actions at a nationally recognized firm. She recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for plaintiffs and class members, including some of the largest fiduciary breach settlements in the country. Additionally, Shannon has trial experience in state courts, representing plaintiffs in personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and multi-party mass tort cases.
