Shannon completed both mediation and design thinking training at the Conflict Lab in Pittsburgh. Shannon has also apprenticed with renowned commercial and civil litigation mediator and labor arbitrator, Robert A. Creo. In 2006, she supported Mr. Creo's research when he co-founded Mediators Beyond Borders International, a nonprofit that connects mediators with communities affected by conflict. In addition, Shannon serves as a pro bono mediator for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and is trained in employment mediation by the agency.

Shannon leverages her experience as a litigator on both sides of the "v" to secure equitable and credible settlements in civil cases. While she specializes in employment law, Shannon has also successfully resolved a wide range of civil disputes, including personal injury claims, business and contractual matters, medical malpractice and product liability cases, as well as mass tort claims.

Shannon draws on her expertise in navigating the complexities of wage and hour class actions, FLSA collective actions, and consumer protection class actions to achieve sustainable outcomes that fairly address the interests of all parties involved.
